You may be wondering who we are and why you should be doing business with us. Well, we are a small town family owned dealership in rural Alabama right in the heart of Dixie. We believe in treating our customers the same way we want to be treated. We go above and beyond to make sure our customers are happy and tell their friends and family they should be trading with us. Mickey Bates started out selling Ford tractors for a dealership in 1977 and has been in this industry ever since. Mickey took a leap of faith in 1988 and decided to step out on his own and opened Clanton Tractor and Equipment taking on Kubota as the sole brand of tractor. Mickey, along with his wife Barbara and oldest son Jarrad still own and operate the business and are backed by a very experienced and dedicated staff that strives to continue the success that we have experienced over the past 30 years.
